The company approached us for a complete redesign—from its visual identity to its website. Bastion’s business is all about protection and order, but the website conveyed the opposite: complex text, minimal graphics, and high cognitive barriers made it difficult for users to understand the company’s services.
We use visuals to explain complex and abstract services in a clear and simple way. The text’s structure was designed to help users understand, from the very first seconds, where they were and what was being offered to them. The main focus – reduce cognitive load by making complex concepts accessible.
At the heart of the concept is the metaphor of a bastion, as a digital fortress. We interpret the key graphic pattern as a data pulse: it resonates organically with the client’s field of activity and forms an internal network in which pulses connect elements, transmit information, and ensure a dynamic, sustainable system of interactions.
We restructured the website and redesigned each screen to make complex text content easier to understand: one block—one clear idea, a simple layout, and no visual clutter.
We implemented a supplementary sidebar and made the block layout more cohesive and geometric. We aligned the microanimations with the main pattern and the “fortress” concept to ensure seamless interaction with the interface.
The client received a modern brand identity and website that function as a unified communication system. Instead of a complex and cluttered user experience, we created a clear structure, consistent visual logic, and an interface that helps users quickly understand the services and conveys a sense of reliability, order, and technological excellence.
