Brusnika came to ONY with a request to update its corporate identity. The company had grown from a developer into a multifaceted creator of urban environments. The task was to create a recognizable but unobtrusive system where engineering and humanity are not opposed but complement each other. The brand wanted to talk about itself the way it actually operates: openly, honestly, and with attention to detail.
We started with a design audit: we conducted interviews and studied the research that Brusnika had collected over the years. The company has long been a challenger in its category: it implements global development practices, works with the context of cities, and designs with attention to the historical and social environment. However, this was hardly visible in its external communications.

The main metaphor was digital architectural tracing paper—transparent layers, modularity, “meshiness,” and design logic defined the character of the new identity. There are no random elements in it—each graphic technique works as part of the engineering structure. This is an identity where engineering precision meets poetry, and the rational becomes expressive.

The logo is an important part of Brusnika's identity, created within the company. We retained the recognizable symbol, adapting it to the new system: we redesigned the font, enhancing its geometry and precision. We chose Formular from Brownfox studio as the main typeface. It is distinguished by its precision and versatility, combined with a slightly eccentric character. The updated shade of red is cool, with magenta instead of orange warmth, to make the color deeper and more modern.

Linear graphics from grids interact with content, continuing it or highlighting what is necessary. It is superimposed on the photograph as a second layer, creating the impression of an architect's touch.

The icon set is made in a plastic font with characteristic cuts. The illustrative style is a more emotional tool for communication, but it still reflects precision and engineering.
In the motion style, the visual language comes to life through the interaction of layers with space. This has made the system flexible and scalable — it works equally well in digital, on signs, construction sites, and merchandise, while preserving the brand's character.

Brusnika's new corporate identity has preserved continuity and strengthened the brand image—that of a technologically advanced, people-oriented, and ambitious developer that sees architecture as a tool for development. As a result, the brand has acquired a visual system that conveys its philosophy: beauty is based on logic, and engineering is based on inspiration.
