Design concept
The company has reached out to us to develop a prototype and design concept for the main page of the Ostrovok Komandirovki website based on the existing corporate identity. An additional task was to provide scalable solutions for future website internal pages.
The service offers customised functionality for three categories of users: travel managers, employees and accountants. Therefore, a colour-coded culminating block on the homepage reflects the key offerings for each role.
We have systematically approached the development of the site details and created a consistent style for all the elements: we designed unique icons, selected illustrations, and implemented micro-animations.
We have optimised the page structure for A/B and hypothesis testing so the client team can run them. Meanwhile, the layout structure ensures stability when adding and removing blocks.
One of the primary objectives of the communication was to show that the product covers the entire process of business trips –– from booking to receiving the closing documents. The first screen shows it through animation, where the steps succeed each other.
On the new website, we have combined a businesslike and strict style with the lightness that the service should bring to clients' processes. The revised structure and updated homepage design emphasise the connection of the Ostrovok Komandirovki service with its parent brand.
